For the latest episode of callcast Conversations, I dialed up Sean Madden, a Senior Design Analyst at the incredible “creative consultancy” frog design. Sean is longtime best-friends with my Blue Flavor co-worker Tom Watson, but isn’t someone I know terribly well. We’ve only hung out a few times, most recently on a weekend trip I took to San Francisco, where he lives with his wife Jasmyn.

You may know Sean from his personal site, othersean.com, or from his postings at his previous personal site, pixelnomad.com. Sean is also on Twitter, and has posted some great design and technology related content on frog’s Design Mind magazine. Sean also worked on DS Buttons, and wrote a couple of memorable articles for web rags Digital Web and Vitamin:

Sean and I talked for about 40 minutes — the longest callcast yet — on all sorts of topics, ranging from his work at frog to his interest in and thoughts on ubiquitous computing, to social networking, and a lot more.

I’m sure Sean will be reading the comments, so I encourage you to continue to discussion! I think this was a great conversation with Sean — I hope you agree. If you’re enjoying these, subscribe to the feed!

It’s always nice to hear from Sean, even when it’s in an MP3 player.

Thanks, guys, for thinking and talking about the big topics. Maybe it can inspire a little more of that.

Rippin on the sunset huh? It’s a real neighborhood, and it has great food. You are no longer welcome there.
