In last night’s NBA draft, a record-tying five players from a single school were drafted when my Kansas Jayhawks’ Brandon Rush, Darrell Arthur, Mario Chalmers, Darnell Jackson, and Sasha Kaun were all selected by the league. Compare that to North Carolina and Duke who had, um, none. Just sayin’.

The Jayhawks were promptly treated like the school slut, passed from team to team in a fury of trades. All five KU players were dealt at least once, and Arthur was traded three times!

big fan of the site, but your comparison between duke/unc and kansas is apples to oranges. i hate carolina, but hansbrough and the three other underclassmen stayed in school, they would’ve been first round picks, lawson would’ve been a top 5-6 quite possibly.

I understand that. It was just a joke/attempt at trash talk. Relax. :)

wasn’t trying to come across as all worked up…

just think you’ve been brainwashed. my very good friend is a big ku fan, his mother worked in the basketball offices under roy and larry brown, and his dad was a facility guy that oversaw allen fieldhouse.

he did his best to try to convert me, but failed :)

I know you weren’t trying to come across as worked up. I just wanted to be clear that I was just joking, and didn’t really think the fact that UNC and Duke had no players drafted means anything negative about their programs. :)
