Xerox redesigns itself. The wordmark is beautiful. Those X’s are stunning. The icon, on the other hand — some kind of three-dimensional marble with an X on it, is flatly ridiculous. I wish more clients would be satisfied with just rolling with a nice, solid wordmark.

“Sporting Goods” is the first thing that comes to mind when I see the new Xerox icon. I don’t think that’s a good thing, unless they’re planning to “diversify”!
